Went on a short mountain bike ride in the Phoenix Mountain Preserves today with Wil and his friend Chris. It was my first time mountain bike riding with Chris. We parked at the Tatum trail parking lot, took trail 100 to trail 8 and up to Perl Charles 1A. 1A is a great trail. Great singletrack and some good technical sections. We hooked up to the main Trail 100 and bombed down to Dreamy Draw and over to Rush Hour. We rode Rush hour back to Dreamy Draw area and connected with unmarked trail that meanders around to Trail 100 part way up the Dreamy Draw climb. Once at the top of the climb we connected to Action Jackson. Action Jackson is fast curvy singletrack. It spit us out over near 32nd and Shea, where we took a little connection back to the main Trail 100 and back to the cars.
