If you park in the parking lot at 46th street and then take Javelina, you have to have some pretty strong legs. It is only 1.7 miles to Mormon Loop which I took next, but it took me over half an hour. It is almost all UPhill with loose scree and plenty of boulders which will make you get off your bike and walk up parts of it. Great excersize and very much worth it if you continue to Mormon Loop and any other trails.
